— THE MAIN ATTRACTION —
There isn't much here now, but there will be soon™! I have plans to write a lot about my interests and share as much as I can about them. I already have multiple ideas for different pages all over the site, it's just a matter of finding a good workflow for them and making an easy to modify but minimalist template to use for the rest of the site (this page and the splash have taken me far too long).
Template made, should be easy to style. I've been reading tempertemper's blog recently and find myself rapidly acquiring an appreciation for web accessibility. Unfortunately, in my efforts to make this site more accessible, I've discovered that the shade of blue I've gone with for the side bars is horrid for contrast, making pretty much every combination of colors I've tried passing, at best, two out of three criteria for accessibility. Maybe I'll add a contrasting background to the links. I'm sure I can make it visually pleasing as well as accessible. Turns out, the color stuff ONLY matters for when you remove the underline. I'm not going to remove the underlines! Did you know WAVE doesn't detect details/summary as being inaccessible? I'll need to do some testing myself to see if it's bad for site navigation.
